Honesty & Integrity
We focus on honesty and integrity and sometimes that
requires us telling you what you may not want to here. For
instance, there are some pieces we just can't work on. But if
it is a piece that we can do, you can rest assured that no one
does it better. In fact, in our ever-increasing desire to
do everything, we'll begin providing services for rims and
wheels soon!
TAKING CARE OF YOUR CHROME:
Most important is to keep your chrome clean! Leaving
your chrome dirty for long periods of time sets your parts up for
corrosion. We recommend using a dish washing liquid and a soft rag
to clean your parts. After washing, use a soft rag to dry your
parts and your chrome will stay beautiful for years to
come.
Do not use abrasive chrome polishes. Chrome plating is
tough but it can be scratched. Soap and water are the
best.
Wax your chrome. Use any kind of car wax every couple of
months to seal against moisture. If you follow these few steps,
your chrome will stay showroom beautiful for years.
Chrome Tip:
When installing your new chrome, DO NOT over-tighten
anything that lies against the chrome part. In olaces like the
wheel, where the calipers and where the rotor meets the hub, it is
possible to crack the chrome plating. Take care not to
over-tighten.
